A Long Guest List
If your child is schooling, the big question is whether to invite the entire class or not. While you may think that it’s offensive not to invite someone onto your kid’s birthday party, don’t be. Reality is that not all the kids in your child’s class are close to your son or daughter. So it helps if you ask your kid to make a list of closest friends to send invitation. Or it would be better to let your child invite as many friends as possible to make the party manageable.
A Party Celebration Beyond 2 Hours
Allotting 2 hours for a kid’s birthday party may seem to be short on your invitation letter. But during the actual moment, it can feel like forever, especially when not all invited come and join the party. Keep it short and simple but not missing the significant parts. First part would be the craft or game for the young guests, followed by the meal and ending in cakes and presents. Two hours would be enough for all those activities.
Hosting in your own home
Celebrating your kid’s birthday party at your own house may feel special but think about all the preparation you need to do and the aftermath. If a budget is not an issue and you have planned quite well for the party, most parents would advise you to celebrate somewhere else. An indoor playground is at the top list of choices because everything will be taken care of and you won’t be bothered by cleaning at the end. You just have to plan a month ahead or earlier to let everybody know about the party, both the guests and the organizers.
Regardless of which situation you’re in, just remember that the celebration is for your kids and they are the happiest even with the simplest thing.
