The inside of the annealing equipment is determined by the size of work piece you are working on; it should be large enough for the work piece to receive maximum exposure of the circulating hot air. Mostly after the process is complete the work piece is left in the oven to cool at controlled temperatures. When choosing a manufacturer always work with the one who shows confidence and trusts the capability of their own annealing equipment by offering equipment warranty also giving periodic service and maintenance and always available incase you need further enquiries.
Annealing is a form of material science where heat treatment is applied in order to alter the physical and chemical properties of a material with an aim of increasing its ductility. For the best results, one needs to use a great set of annealing equipment. Therefore, the ability to deform a material under tensile stress is known as ductility commonly characterized by metals stretched into wires. It is achieved by use of extreme heating of the material then maintaining to desired temperature then cooling. The heat works to increase the rate of diffusion in order to release enough energy to break the material bonds. Materials are handled according to their difference in nature when it comes to cooling, for copper, brass and silver can be cooled slowly in still air or quickly by quenching in salt water commonly know as brine, a ferrous metal like steel is cooled slowly to anneal. The annealing processes are categorized in three stages; recovery, re-crystallization and grain growth. Recovery is the first stage which is done at lower temperatures to soften the metal through removal of primary defects that cause internal stresses, re-crystallization is replacing deformed grains with new strain-free grains then lastly the grain growth where the material structure starts to coarsen and mostly cause the metal to lose a part of its original strength.
