The importance of Industrial oven for industries
The use of the right Industrial oven is very important for many industries because it can improve performance and productivity. Industrial oven can be found in most high-volume production lines where there is a need for heating equipment. One example of an Industrial oven is the batch oven with the flexibility to process different kinds of products. One can literally walk inside the batch oven because manufacturers have seen to it that businesses can benefit from its extremely large size. If large items are being processed by a business, the batch oven will perfectly fit the requirements. However, there are also batch ovens specifically build for businesses that process small and medium sized products. Another type of Industrial oven that is apt for high volume of products is the conveyor oven that can be integrated into the automated processing system. While conveyor ovens are smaller in size than batch ovens, they allow for continuous product flow without requiring manual handling.
The importance of heat source for the Industrial oven
There are three heat sources for industrial ovens – electric, gas and infrared – but what is right for your application will depend on factors like the specifics of the application, the options that are available inside the facility and operating costs. Electricity is the more common choice of industries because it is accessible and convenient for small volume processing. Electricity is also the most ideal choice if the application requires heating, cooling and reheating. In food production and pharmaceuticals, electricity is also the best option because it is cleaner and does not produce any byproducts unlike gas that emits carbon dioxide and water.
Gas is relatively cheaper than electricity so that it becomes the most ideal choice for high volume production. A gas oven is considerably more expensive than an electric oven but the investment can be offset from the savings in fuel. If the application has high temperature requirements, gas is a very good option because it provides high temperature immediately.
Infrared ovens are totally different from the electric and gas ovens because they produce heat through radiation. Radiation heating can heat an object directly with a targeted beam which is a good choice for applications like curing and finishing. However, infrared is not actually a power source but it is generated through electricity or gas. There are electric infrared ovens and gas-powered infrared ovens but the choice has to suitably fit your process and products. If the industrial ovens available in the market do not suit your applications, it can easily be customized so that your operations will not be too complicated.
