All Team Glass began manufacturing different types of safety glass for multiple industrial projects in 1975. It was introduced as a channel for diversifying our already existing product line besides to etched glass, showed glass and mirrors. Over the years, we have polished our manufacturing capabilities by growing our production facilities to our current state-of-the-art equipment. We take great pride in being the market leader in highly coveted edge profiles with specifications such as pencil edge, seemed shapes, beveled edges, flat polish and ogee shapes among others. Our decorative edges are customer approved, with thousands of clients making orders every week.
To us, the customer means everything. We have put in thousands of hours to perfect our calibrations, to emerge as the undisputed market leader in glass products. We strive to provide functional products and hence always have the purpose in mind when building our projects. Safety glass is meant for two primary purposes: to create a reinforced option that can withstand harsher conditions than regular glass and to maximize safety to users in case of breakage. In the automobile industry, we play a leading role in manufacturing windshields for modern applications. We have successfully increased vehicle safety on collisions by introducing almost-unbreakable windshields to the market. Our windshields are designed to contain the car contents during collisions by preventing passengers and objects from being thrown out. This was initially a big challenge before the introduction of laminated windshields when people would be quickly thrown out to their death or severe fatalities.
Our laminated glass is made by sandwiching the glass between two thin films of plastic. The film is made of a stretchable plastic that allows the glass to stick to it. A multi-layer film can also be used to prevent bullets from penetrating through bank windows. For some industrial applications, we manufacture safety glass to reduce transmission of high-frequency sound as well as blocking ultraviolet radiation. Our engineers have also diversified the uses of safety glass to include body temperature thermometers, greenhouse windows, and office partitions and shower enclosures.
We are highly inclined towards product customization in a bid to meet independent client needs. More recently, we started making laminated safety glass to resist fall-out of frames during natural calamities such as tornadoes and earthquakes. We are proud that our laminated and tempered glass panels abide by the Canadian general board specifications. They have exhibited exemplary performance in third party laboratory tests for safety and functionality.
