Viton
This kind of polyethylene foam was first introduced back 50 years ago with the intention to offer protection for the aerospace industry. It provides excellent resistance to heat, oil and other chemicals, making it great for engine, hot grease and compressor related applications. Viton is also very resistant to a broad range of concentrated acids; the reason why they are widely used in food grading and processing.
SBR Rubber
SBR rubber sheets are made from a particular type of polymer that has excellent chemical resistance property. They are tense and offer great solid resistance to impact and abrasion. Also, they are highly stable and a good choice if you’re after a material that provide outstanding mechanical properties. However, they are not recommended for applications dealing with oil or gasoline.
Fabric Reinforced Sheet
This cloth reinforced sheet is perfect for applications where oil must be resisted. It’s most suited for use in the production of detergents, petroleum, and many more. It’s also great to use where cold or hot liquid is being conveyed. It also comes in different rubber compounds, including neoprene/nylon, SBR packing rubber, and chute lining rubber.
Insertion Sheet
This one is a kind of reinforcement (made of single ply cloth) that increases tensile strength and offers excellent resistance against premature wearing of any standard industrial packaging. It can also be used in gaskets, atop of a workbench and serves as an insertion strip and self-adhesive sheeting.
