Racks and flat surfaces
Every bakery needs a lot of flat spaces for kneading, mixing, and other baking tasks. Tables and countertops are very important for bakers to roll and cut dough, knead bread, and decorate their baked goodies. These flat surfaces can be made either with wood or stainless steel. It’s best to use tables that have storage underneath like drawers and lower shelves where you can keep baking supplies and ingredients. Likewise, it’s perfect to have multi-purpose bakery trays and multilevel racks that provide ample storage space for baked products.
Baking pans and special tools
Apart from long flat surfaces and huge ovens, most baking tools and equipment are small items. Think of the various pans, bowls, pins, cups, and other baking tools. Many of these baking tools come in various sizes like the pans used for baking cookies, muffins, and cakes. Mixing bowls and measuring cups also come in sets to suit the specific requirement of your baked goodies.
Mixers
In addition to the oven, your bakery also needs to have the right mixer which depends on the types of baked products you are making daily as well as the volume of your bakery production. For example, if you are specializing in producing cupcakes and related products, you may need a planetary mixer. Conversely, if you are mostly baking bread, a spiral mixer would be a better option as it allows the dough to end up in the right gluten structure for best breadmaking.
Overall, regardless of which type of item you use, keep in mind to buy quality bakery equipment and tools. May it be as simple as bakery trays or as complex as the oven, each item must be chosen well.
