The ATC made it possible to perform various operations because there are multiple heads which can be changed easily without having the need to transport the machine somewhere. There are various heads used such as fully articulating, right angle and universal heads. All these types are the reason why boring mills are able to perform processes such as threading, milling, boring and reaming.
