O-rings: These are connecting rings that inter-connect between different moving parts of the conveyor system. O-rings are strategically placed below the conveyor belt and are useful in initiating and controlling the directional movement of the belt. Routine maintenance of the conveyor parts system requires that any broken or lose O-rings be immediately replaced to protect the belt from slackening or breaking off. By replacing them, the drive train is sustainably maintained in a perfect working condition.
Rollers: Connected to the O-rings, rollers are useful in keeping the belt stable and in its perfect operational capacity. As a requirement, the rollers should be routinely cleaned and replaced in case they are lose or broken. For the best results, only steel rollers that are heat treated and hardened should be used. Otherwise, the manufacturer recommended rollers should be adopted for use in repairing the conveyor parts.
Shafts: These are connecting axles linking different parts of the conveyor system to the energy source. Steel shafts are recommended, with regular lubrication, cleaning and replacement being advised. This ensures that the shaft retains its operational capacity during and after the regular cycle of use.
